How we work

From unclear idea to production path

Four steps. Clear scope. Real software at the end. We use the same process on our own products, which is how we know where the hard parts are.

01

Talk for 30 minutes.

No long strategy phase. We figure out what you're trying to ship, why it matters, what systems it touches, and whether we are the right team to build it.

You leave the call with a clear next step: book Discovery, take the notes and do it yourself, or wait. We do not pressure on the call.

What we cover

  • What you're trying to ship
  • Where AI fits
  • Existing systems
  • Timeline & budget reality
  • Whether we're a good fit

02

Discovery, 5–10 days.

AI-assisted audit + structured interviews with your team. We map the workflow, data, users, permissions, risks, and integration points, then identify where agents fit: prototype, production path, or both.

You get a SOW that says exactly what we'll build, in what order, on what timeline, and what we explicitly will not build. Fixed scope before fixed price.

Deliverables

  • Workflow map
  • Agent fit analysis
  • Stakeholder interviews
  • Architecture sketch
  • Phased SOW with fixed pricing
  • Risks & assumptions

03

Build, 2–4 weeks.

Target: staging in week one. Production timing depends on the scope, but you see progress every few days, not in a big-bang demo at the end.

We reuse proven blocks for auth, billing, email, AI tooling, content, background jobs, and deploys. What we focus on is the part that is actually yours.

What ships

  • Production code in your repo
  • Staging & production deploys
  • Working agents wired to your data
  • Runbook + handoff docs
  • 1-hour walkthrough with your team

04

Operate. Optional.

Most clients run it themselves from here. Some keep us on a monthly retainer to monitor cost and quality, keep agents healthy, fix what breaks, and ship improvements.

Either way: you own the code, the data, and the deploy. We're not holding the keys to your business hostage.

On retainer

  • Uptime & cost monitoring
  • Prompt & model upgrades
  • Monthly improvement sprint
  • On-call for incidents
How we work

A few non-negotiables

Boring on purpose.

We don't sell magic. We sell shipped software. The interesting part of AI is what it does for your business, not the demo.

You own everything.

Code, data, deploys, model accounts, prompts. We hand over the keys. Always.

Fixed scope, fixed price.

Discovery produces a SOW with assumptions, exclusions, timeline, and price. Scope ambiguity gets handled before the build starts.

Small active pipeline.

We keep the active pipeline small so the people scoping the system are the people building it.

Honest scope filter.

If your project doesn't fit what we're good at, we'll tell you on the first call, and point you at someone who does.

Agents do the heavy lifting.

We use AI agents internally on every engagement. That’s how a small team ships in weeks what agencies take months for.

Bring the workflow, product idea, deadline, and any constraints you already know. You leave with a clear next step either way.
