When it comes to men’s fashion in Euphoria, there’s no denying that Chris McKay (portrayed by Algee Smith) stands out as one of the show’s most stylish characters.

From his plaid grey Nike jacket to his beige leather jacket, McKay’s wardrobe is on-point, and fans can’t help but admire his cool sense of style.

But which of McKay’s outfits is the freshest of them all? Let’s take a closer look at some of his best looks throughout the series and decide which one takes the top spot.

  1. McKay’s Plaid Nike Jacket (S1EP2)

In this scene, McKay is dressed in a plaid grey Nike jacket, black pants, and a silver watch for his date with Cassie. As he picks her up at the Howards’, he finds himself facing a cross-examination from Cassie’s mother, Susan, who is making sure he’s the right match for her daughter.

  1. McKay’s Frat Party Outfit (S1EP3)

At a frat initiation party, McKay was spotted wearing a grey pullover and his signature watch. He initially hesitates when he’s dared to drink a shot of water with live goldfish. However, Cassie encourages him to go along with it and take the shot, which earns him massive respect from his fraternity brothers.

It’s clear that McKay is drawn to Cassie’s ability to make him feel special, and he relishes in the envy of the other boys who wish they had a girlfriend like her. But there are also drawbacks to dating an “out-there-kinda-girl” like Cassie, such as the constant gossip and rumors surrounding her and the pressure to keep up with her wild side.

  1. McKay’s Carnival Outfit (S1EP4)

McKay’s carnival outfit features a beige leather jacket and a lion chain around his neck, giving off a cool and edgy vibe. However, the issue of his insecurity about Cassie’s past resurfaces during an argument between them both at the carnival. McKay admits he doesn’t want to officially date her because of her past sexual encounters. He harbors a deep resentment towards Cassie and struggles to come to terms with her (alleged) history.

  1. McKay’s Football Jersey (S1EP5)

McKay looks sharp in his navy blue college football uniform, with a stylish red durag.

He is having a hard time building confidence outside of the football pitch. He doesn’t want to disappoint his father, with whom he shares a special bond rooted in sports. His father has always been the guiding force in his football career. He has high expectations for his son’s success which only adds to McKay’s feelings of inadequacy.

  1. McKay’s Camel Hoodie (S1EP6)

At the Halloween-themed fraternity party, McKay opted for a casual look in a cozy camel-colored hoodie, accompanied by Cassie. The two lovebirds were about to get intimate when all of a sudden some frat brothers interrupted and hazed McKay.

After the assault, McKay doesn’t confront his attackers or open up to Cassie. Instead, he follows his father’s advice to bottle up all of his anger and only allow them to erupt on the football field.

He pretends everything is okay and asks Cassie if she still wants to have sex. The unspoken question is: Do you still see me as a man after what has just happened?! Despite feeling shaken herself, Cassie puts aside her own desires and agrees to have sex with McKay to soothe his fragile masculinity.

  1. McKay’s Blue Nike Hoodie (S1EP6)

In Episode 6, Chris McKay is portrayed as the anchor character, donning a
* Nike Men’s Club Fleece Pullover Hoodie
* . McKay’s journey to the realization that his chances of turning pro were slim is a central theme of the episode. Despite his initial belief in making it to the NFL, McKay’s college experience forces him to confront the harsh reality that many of his peers are just as talented as he is.

After crunching the numbers, he realizes that there are 10,965 other athletes with the same goal as him, making it seem impossible to achieve his dream of going pro.

  1. McKay’s New Year’s Eve Outfit (S2EP1)

In the picture, McKay can be seen in a t-shirt by Avenue Black, black jeans, and sneakers, engaging in a fight with Cassie at a New Year’s Eve party. The scene reflects McKay’s struggle to find his identity and his lack of confidence.

He is constantly put in an uncomfortable position by Cassie, who is getting sexualized by others. This constant attention and objectification of Cassie cause McKay to feel insecure and fail to give her the love and support she needs, ultimately leading to their relationship’s failure.

This marks the end of McKay’s appearance in Euphoria. He is not seen beyond the first episode of Season 2. As he doesn’t have any strong ties to any Euphoria High students anymore, his character may move on and focus on college life.

The odds are against McKay making an appearance in Euphoria’s Season 3, but Sam Levinson, the creator of Euphoria, has a reputation for keeping viewers on their toes. So, we can’t rule out the possibility of McKay’s comeback entirely!
